My experience. 🌳

Over the past decade, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside people in a wide range of roles—both as a licensed mental health counselor and as a coach. I’ve supported individuals and couples in private practice, offered crisis support through the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, and worked in community mental health settings with people navigating systems of marginalization. I’ve also spent several years offering non-clinical coaching in the areas of relationships, mindfulness, and somatics. While I’m currently licensed as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington State, I’m especially excited to be returning to this heart-centered, non-clinical work through wellness coaching—where there’s space for depth, nuance, and a different kind of transformation.

In addition to my work as a coach, I offer Reiki and sound healing and workshops online and in person alongside my partner here.

My story. 🦋

My path into healing work hasn’t followed a straight line. Over the years, I’ve moved through a wide range of different worlds—military service, art school, corporate fashion, quilting, farming, tiny house living, community organizing, counseling, and even running a holistic day spa. I’ve navigated major life transitions, including gender transition and an international move from the U.S. to the Netherlands. Each chapter came with its own lessons and challenges, and for a long time, I couldn’t see how they all fit together. But in hindsight, every experience was part of a larger journey: one of searching for belonging, clarity, and a life that truly fits.

For most of my life, I felt like I didn’t quite fit in—like a square peg in a round hole. I was the person who stood out in the room, the one who seemed “different” without always knowing why. That feeling of not belonging followed me across careers, places, and identities. It wasn’t just about being “the weirdo”—it was about longing for a home that felt real, safe, and true.

That experience deeply informs the work I do today. I coach people who’ve always felt outside the norm—whether because of their LGBTQIA+ identity, immigrant background, or simply because their path doesn’t fit society’s usual expectations. I know what it’s like to live between worlds, to straddle multiple identities, and to struggle with finding a sense of belonging that isn’t forced or superficial.

My coaching blends trauma-informed care with body-based practices, rooted in over a decade of experience supporting people through complex transitions, identity exploration, and relationship growth. I create a steady, nonjudgmental space where you can reconnect with your clarity, resilience, and authentic self—without needing to hide the parts of you that feel “different” or misunderstood.

I’ve walked the journey from feeling isolated and “other” to creating my own belonging through healing, learning, and connection. That journey shapes every session and interaction I offer. I understand how difficult it can be to navigate change when you don’t see yourself reflected in the world around you—and how powerful it is to finally find a place to land.

Now living and working in the Netherlands, I bring an international and culturally sensitive perspective, holding space for people who are navigating their own transitions across culture, identity, and life phases. If you’ve ever felt like the square peg trying to find where you belong, I’m here to help you claim your space, stand in your truth, and thrive.
